I am still considering whether to hold a party next Saturday for my 30-and-a-half-th birthday (cos my actual thirtieth was a low key affair, and I really wanted to celebrate out in the open air, which isn't much fun in February) I kind of went off the idea when it looked like August would be solid rain, but now it's behaving again I'm back to wanting a garden party / BBQ. (Yes, I know that the weather will be changeable next week, and posting this will cause it to rain. Quiet you.)
So, please tell me:
1. Would you come?
2. Would you prefer a garden party or a picnic in Roundhay Park? (I don't mind, I just want to be outside...)
3. If it rains, would you come along to some kind of alternative borthday celebration (probably in a local pub, the house isn't very well set up for parties right now...)
My house (and alternative venues) are just a short bus ride from town, will put address and details on a friends only post if it looks like people are interested...

Might you still like to come? Will be planning to get across there for 1pm so we can have many hours bimbling around but still allow people plenty of time if they need to head off to evening stuff... hopefully that will fit in with training and Substance? *hopeful*
We might be able to offer a lift across if there's not many people coming but I want to give first reserve for car space to anyone coming in from far far away that may get confused by a simple train journey from Leeds to York ;-)
