Last day of my photography course tomorrow. This means that tonight I shall have yet another sleepless night of caffine overload sorting the best pictures out for my portfolio, selecting 4 lots of the best five of each project for marking, and selecting various test strips and experimental prints that didn't quite work to show progression. And mounting them all up neatly in a pretty folder. This I knew about. This I was (badly) prepared for. What I wasn't prepared for, or even aware of, is that there is also to be an exhibition next week. This means that tomorrow evening in the darkroom will be a blitz of re-printing the best images, preferably to a far larger scale, and tomorrow night will be a framing marathon.
I also have to make the decision between enlarging a few of the Amsterdam pictures, which are probably technically the most proficient, or the dark studio shots of Ross and Alex (a series of fetish-y Beauty-and-the-Beast* type pieces) which we couldn't backlight properly at the time due to a light being bust so are therefore not as clearly defined as they should be, but are far more dramatic and likely to grab people's attention. (I could do a couple of each, but I think this would diminish the impact...)
If do I make it to Black Sheep this Friday I'm likely to be on yet ANOTHER sleep-deprived buzz. And that's not including the illustrations and report I really need to get finished over the next couple of days. Oh, and a couple of website upgrades... Winchester is looking kind of wibbly once again.
I ~do~ like a lot of the photos though. Which is nice.
And my parents came over today and brought carpet cleaners and helped me with the much neglected garden so everything is looking neat and sparkly. I'm actually feeling suprisingly organised right now. Which is especially strange considering that my 3D To Do list still covers an entire chair.
(I should never be allowed near mini post it notes unattended...)
Not actually made it to the gym yet. But on the other hand not actually had any achohol either.

*Not that I'm calling Ross ugly... he just had his big claws on and was looking scary...
