Can anyone help me track down a fairly straightforward dictionary definition of "Curved Space" or "Curved spaces" I'm assuming most will be scientific, but any slightly more metaphysical ones could work too.

(Need a quote for a central image on my website now I've finally (nearly) got my portfolio up online)

EDIT: Following Keef's wonderful off-the-top-of-his-head summary, I'd also welcome any personal definitions of descriptions of what you understand the term "curved spaces" to mean, be it serious, surreal or just plain stupid!

Well Curved Space as i see it is the theory that space is visible in 3 dimensions only because it is curved in a kind of "saddle shape" and in fact if you were to go to the outer reaches of space where it is not curved it is in two dimensions and you would be able to see the back of your own head.

I quite like that. I think rather than trying to get a formal dictionary quote I might get people to describe their own understanding of the term. Thanks!

Oops! I know, I didn't mean it like that! I meant more that I had originally been searching for a highly formal definition so I could mock up a dictionary entry with all the phonetics and variations of usage, and use one definition to slip in a brief description of the company. But all the sites I've found so far have either been essays, or using the phrase freely in an attempt to define something else, and just not concise or to the point enough for a mock up dictionary.

Whereas yours was a visually evocative description in conversational language, which worked... so I'm now thinking I might prefer something with lots of layers of genuine "verbal" definitions and the company description emerging from among them...

Curved Space: A polite way of refereing to a woman with an ample cleavage, for example "My word that young lady certainly has a curved space"

Hmmm, a cleavage that distorts space/time - that's some gravity well!

I've just made my brain feel like it's turned into swiss cheese by trying to understand this, which is far more complicated then I remember physics being....

Why can't these people learn to talk in soundbites? Politicians can do it, it can't be ~that~ difficult!

There was an excellent band around in York in the late 80s, called Celebrated Summer, who had a track called "the world is at least curved". Obviously this doesn't help at all, but I thought it was a wonderful name for a song. Ah, nostalgia.
