Quick hello and does anyone know of any alternative bars they can recommend in the Dam Square area? Found somewhere to go tonight, but it doesn't open till midnight... any suggestions till then? Don't want to get stuck with the cast of Eastenders again like we did at lunchtime *shudder*

The Absinthe Bar was always my favourite.

It was round about opposite that shopping mall, if you know where I mean. This was nearly 3 years ago though.

Thats the chap. If you stand facing the Magna-Doobry and go left on the other side of the road it is right there. Down a few steps.

And was completely asshole free last time I went. Expensive drinks though. But they do Absinthe and Jagermeister and all kinds of great things. It's one of my favourite places... it had better still be there or I will cry. Seriously. I would.

There are a couple of Goth/Industrial clubs, but they're a bit out of the way if I remember rightly, one's out towards the port/docks and the other is, poo can't quite remember enuff to give directions but if I was there I could certainly guide you ;) and some good alternative bars too. Damn you :)
