Yup, so Bubba Hotep was sold out. Which was bloody annoying. And yes, you told us so, we should have booked tickets in advance. (I'm not sure who you are, but I'm sure that someone will have told me that, but I don't know who, as I didn't listen. Obviously) But this sorry state of events did lead to us meeting up with a couple of random strangers and dragging them to the pub. Whereupon we ended up being sat outside the Royal Park (sigh, old haunts of yesteryear) listening to the Sisters of Murphy waft up from the Cellar Bar (and briefly considering trying to pretend that we'd try to pretend that we'd deliberately kissed off the film to attend a secret REAL Sisters gig but then realised that that would be even sadder than admitting that we failed to book tickets in advance, so we didn't)

Much random nonsense was talked (and the word "random" vastly overused in true student fashion) especially with Marcus who appeared to be a most cool blokey and who runs a horror fanzine and goth clothing shop (Rob and Patrick - you may both be interested in talking to him for promotional reasons - I did mention this to him but also stressed that my rabbitings were not necessarily representative of the views of the management) And there was lots of hilarity and pisstaking of the world in general and a complete rewriting of a previously set-in-stone article of knowledge for generations to come:
"All men are not necessarily bastards... some of them are bitches!"
Gay guys are so great at slagging off men ;-) So I now have some new friends to play with at Wendyhouse and possibly a new\old convert for a Sunday night Phono. All in all had a thoroughly wonderful time even before the next round of films began and felt all sentimentally student-like again. To the point where I felt all tearful at the sight of Pizza Cano. I shall probably spend the next few hours wafting gently along memory lane. Until it gets invaded by Formula One racing cars tearing down it at about 6.30am

Um... also have some quite wonderful new tights - they're cotton and so can be worn even when eczema-y and are nicely warm and cosy and a wonderful fir (I love tescos) Unfortunately they were in the sale and I got two of the last pairs (I went back last night to try to buy up the rest but they'd all gone) So if anyone knows of any large long-legged cotton tights, or bumps into an unsold pair in a strange timewarp tescos PLEASE let me know and I will love you forever and bear your children.

Also might have something new and even more exciting but more on that if it actually happens.
