Decisions decisions...

Do I make a 21/2 hour round trip through rush hour traffic to go to a fencing lesson? Or do I say fuck it and stay here?

Reasons to go:
1) There are only eight(?) lessons in total so don't want to miss one
2) Fencing is fun (as someone already said "Well, I'd drive halfway across the country to stick sharp things in people)
3) It's healthy activity and
4) If I stay here I'll just watch films and eat pizza

Reasons not to go:
1) Means abandoning poor little Bronwen (dog-sittee) for several hours
2) By the time I get there I'll be hot and worn out before I even start
3) I probably won't get back till at least half nine at which point I'll be dead
4) If I stay here I'll just watch films and eat pizza

I also might actually get some writing and photography done too, which will be good as I'm going to have a hectic week of work and websites when I get back to Leeds.

So staying would be good cos it's relaxation, and going would be good as it's not giving in and being lazy

Help! (I have about 15 minutes to decide)

Go

you'll enjoy it and beat yourself up if you don't

I'd definitely go, I wouldn't want to miss the opportunity to poke someone with a sword if I had it...

why does no one ever give me the opportunity to poke someone with a sword..?

You'd better go or you'll be in extra big trouble.

I think you should go -- you'll enjoy it, and you'll probably feel more energetic when you get there!

I'll give you a hug if you come to fencing.

I shall be going too, although my arm really hurts
