I think I definitely have SARS. I know that everybody always claims that but in my case it's true, and I can prove it. Vix is going to Singapore soon and had her innoculations in the week before her birthday and they'd made her all flu-y and husky. Like I am now. So they've obviously given her an innoculation for SARS which I've now caught. And am going to die hideously from.

Feeling better today though.

I've always thought "SARS" sounded like the name or a role/war-gaming society, or something equally nasty that would make getting the virus itself seem far more preferable.

I think there's been one of those spontaneous outbreaks all over the country this week... it's one of those times when "computer virus" gains a suspicious new meaning as you discover that someone that lives 200 miles away but email every day has got exactly the same symptoms as you at exactly the same time.

I still think it's got something to do with Vix's party though. These mass Ladybird meets always seem to end up being so much a "bring a bottle" as a "bring your own regional strain of flu germ"

And you think they'd think of slightly more exciting names for deadly diseases... ones with lots of q's and k's and z's and beginning with "the Dread" and ending with "of DOOM" Something you can feel ~proud~ to have disolving your internal organs...
