Well, the car squeaked abysmally for the first few minutes then stopped and drove perfectly from then on. Both fan belt type things still appear to be present. I am completely baffled by this behaviour, but believe it may be attention seeking now that I am no longer driving it to used car lots to meet new friends every night. If anyone of a more mechanically minded turn can suggest otherwise, please feel free to do so.

Also just remembered another incident from Infest. Vix and I being vigorously accosted by a midget while we were dancing to "Sex Dwarf" who then vanished. All I could assume was that he had spent the entire weekend waiting for that song to come on...

Or perhaps the Infest management had a horde of midgets to unleash when that song came on and then rounded them up at the end. Yes. I can imagine it now "Exelenant. Start the Soft Cell record, Raven [when in doubt of a goth name, go for Raven] release the dwarves" Hmm. Or maybe I just have an odd imagination.

yeah I know that bloke, I'm surprised you don't- he's a Wendyhouse regular! and actually a nice guy when sober.... however after a few ales, chap in question turns into a slobbering large-breast magnet, which is really, really unfortunate... me and Em got into the habit of fixing him with enough of a Stare of Death to repel him from our dance space (and mammaries) whenever he came anywhere close :-D but he's honestly a nice guy in general.....

Could indeed be little Steph cos I don't ever think I've met him... he wasn't annoying or anything, just was so weird cos he popped up when the song began and vanished at the end, as if conjured by the lyrics... or maybe it was just the cider ;-)
