Day 13. A song that is a guilty pleasure.
Avril Lavigne - I'm with you
Avril Lavigne is an irritating pseudo-alternative pop princess that badly needs an education in proper punk at the wrong end of a steel-toecapped moshpit. But... um... I quite like this song.

So, last night ended up as a rage-fulled job application marathon. Net result so far: several auto-reponse 'thank you for your application' emails, two personal 'Sorry, we have nothing suitable for you' emails, and one requesting a PDF portfolio.

Only problem is, I've decided the PDF portfolio is now the weakest part of my application, so I'm going to be in the studio until stupid o'clock tonight updating it. Hopefully I can nick most of the content and styling off my website, right now it's too flat and pedestrian. Have also put off registering with a few of the biggest agencies until it's done as well.

(And then it'll be a case of updating the website again, as I've more work to go on there and am starting to think the breakdown and ordering of the pieces on there could be better...)

This is all going to worth it in the end, right?

Yep it will - it might be very frustrating and long winded - it might all fall into place quickly but however it happens it will.

I have a love of Girlfriend by Ms Lavigne.....but then I also love Jedward so there is no hope for me.

Oh. When I played that song my cat came rushing into the room miaowing - she only does that if I shriek (upon injuring myself - suprisingly common actually)... so Avril Lavigne sounds like someone in pain :O although I quite like her songs too!! :)
