Tonight, I learned:

• It's slightly awkward turning up at a club all alone dreseed as a zombie schoolgirl...


• ...right up to the point where you queue up behind a stormtrooper.


• It's interesting doing serious job networking in costume (but hopefully productive).


• I can atually go out to a club and not dance.


• Okay, that's a lie, but it was gentle physio, honest.


• Okay, that's a lie, but my ankle won't have swollen to the size of a grapefruit tomorrow.


• No, really.


• I keep being adopted by random twenty-year-olds at the minute.


• (And very random thirty-somethings from previous random encounters reappearing out of the blue.)


• Some of these twenty somethings are actually probably younger than that and remind me of when we were sub-twenty and 'happy' and made random new friends and forgot them the next day... and it was fun to briefly drift in and out of their lives as 'zombie schoolgirl lady' and hopefully leave them a story to tell (if they remember it)


• ...and some of these twenty somethings are part of the general twenty-thirty-forty something Leeds comglomorate and I'm hopefully going to play in abandonned Manchester churches with them on Friday.


• (And I'm insane to leave Leeds because of all the awesome people.)


• (And random meeting people is fun and London is full of people and I am going to have so much fun finding them all out. All of them.)


• Bradshaw will owe me a carpet and a pint of blood (or something like that) when I prove him wrong and move to London with a great job.


• (Proving Bradshaw wrong is fun and may also involve fire.)


• DJs don't respond well to threats (but it's still fun making them in the nicest possible way :-) ).


• Random is good.

And it was very cool getting a hug from a zombie schoolgirl woman outside WH on Saturday night. The sights you see when you don't have a camera!

Thought for the day: Imagine if the rapture had happened, and you found yourself being carried up to heaven while still in costume. That would have confused the angels a tad? :-)
