...and then life throws that lemonade in your face...

Not the bounciest of birthdays.

The whole weekend seems to have been a catalogue of things going wrong, and utter doom and gloom (albeit brightened in the middle by drinks and karaoke club with Jacqui).

I don't want to moan about it on here (well, I do, but I'd end up going on forever and getting all upset and boring the world to death and besides, I'm trying to cheer myself up, not sit and wallow.) Plus some of it I can't talk about yet. And compared to people who have lost jobs, and houses, and even lives this week, none of it's that big a deal. But it's making what was already not the best of birthdays pretty depressing.

The nice birthday messages cheered me up though. Generally I sigh and tolerate facebook, today it is making me smile.
