...and I can't eat anything :-(

Wieighted myself this morning and I managed to take off most of the weight that the weekend's over-indulgence put on which means I should be back on track to my lowest weight this year (and hopefully keep on going after that) by Friday. Trouble is I have a nice meal planned for tonight that's quite high in calories but it's all stuff that has to be eaten today (as I refuse to waste any food at the minute cos it all costs money) So I'm left with about 300 calories for the rest of the day (yes, I know how fascinating all this must be and I don't care) and I have some gorgeous home made vegetable soup for lunch which is very low calorie but I'm trying to put off eating that for as long as possible by doing all kinds of pointless things like making lists of possible meals for the next week and writing all about it in livejournal.

On the plus side have started getting some ideas for dead:tech down on paper (screen?)

Still need to book Barcelona.

Hungry.

Who's been? I'm planning a short trip there in a couple of weeks, and as I'll probably only have a day and a half looking to fit as much in as possible, so I'm looking for advice on the where to go and what to see front

Looking in particular for interesting places to take photographs apart from the obvious Gaudi\cathedral ones and the more unusual backpacker type bars and cafes (unfortuantely I have very little Spanish so I can't go too far from the tourist trail without resorting to mime, but I'm thinking wandering gap-year students rather than bermuda-shorted Americans here) I'm hoping to come back with photographs and articles to try to sell... or if that's all too much for a first attempt at least a better idea for the do's and don't do's of a travel writing trip for the future.

Any help would be muchos appreciated :)
