Yay! Another birthday and I'm still not 30! (Though that's getting scarily closer now than when I started saying it. And I haven't got any the things I had planned to do by this birthday done due to stupid illness-y things. Though to be fair I probably wouldn't have got half of them done anyway so at least now I have an excuse. And I don't care cos it's my birthday)

lykeios) an absolutely gorgeous new Eeyore that has the most adorable face ever, even cuter than the baby "my first Eeyore"s that I've been drooling over (I am by now somewhat of an Eeyore conniseur) in honour of which he has been bestowed with the new title of "My soft and silly friend" I also treated myself to a trip to Claire's Accessories yesterday (I have been SO good the past couple of months and not been near the place) and come away with a ridiculously fluffy purple feather thing for my hair, and a necklace covered in tiny, perfectly formed red roses *bounce* I'm also going to splash out on a proper hair cut this week and possibly even (oooh extravagance) have them dye my hair as well... I'm planning to get a cut a bit like Willow in the latest series... curling under the chin at the front, then sweeping in a curved cut to be longest at the centre of the back. I want a change, but I don't want a fringe!
My parents will shortly be arriving to take me out to lunch (hopefully a late lunch as due to my not-able-to-go-out-properly-yet state, Kris and I stayed in last night and pigged out on vast amounts of chinese...) and bringing my little dog with them :-) Also by a lovely coincidence two lots of friends who moved away from Leeds and I haven't seen for ages have been back up here this weekend... I got to meet Pete and Kath for a quick pint in Fab cafe yesterday (accompanied by promises to visit Nottingham so that I can be taken to the Pit and the Pendulum) and Spider and Sven are hopefully going to be out tonight. Ra!
For anyone in Leeds, I shall be in the Phono tonight from seven with cake. I have given DJ Paul a list of songs that will probably be horribly out of place but he's going to play some of them anyway. And... did I mention cake?
