London Itinerary

Friday
Arrive, to British Library for the photography archive exhibition, then to Big Red, meet up with kittylyst and on to Inferno (first time I've ever been to the Electric Ballroom too...)

Saturday
Natural History Museum, including British Wildlife Photographer of the Year exhibition, then to family gathering.

Sunday
Plans include the big black box at Tate Modern, and the Decode digital art exhibition at the V&A, and possibly beer. (If I'm lucky, the day may also include strawpig and Ellie, my Number One Wife.)

Monday
Catching up on anywhere I've missed out due to plans never working out the way you plan them. Possibly squeeze in a trip to the Wellcome Collection Identity exhibition.Have a meeting near Old Street tube station mid afternoon, so also going to try to drop into a couple of interesting looking contemporary art and music photography exhibitions nearby. Then home.

I've sent out a few messages to people but it's all been rather last minute and slapdash (anfd brain has melted from overwork again) so I am sure to have missed people out, so if anyone reading wants to join me on these adventurings, give me a shout :-)

Disclaimer: This Itinerary is subject to disruptions by beer, hangover, acts of dog, confusion, London being substantially bigger than I realise, and the fact that plans never do what I tell them to.

Big Red: I live twenty minutes walk from there. Text me when you know what kinda time you are going, and I'll perhaps pop down for a bit?

Or failing that, I'd be interested in joining you for the music photography on Monday if you could cope with accompaniment?

I'm arriving in Kings Cross at 3, so will probably be at Big Red 5ish, maybe? Will text when I'm on the way.

And definitely yes for music photography - was actually going to email you about that as it sounded like something you might be interested in, but then time vanished so just dumped everything on LJ! Not sure what kind of time it'll be yet - I have an appointment at Association of Illustrators which is nearby, between 2.30 and 3.30, so might be best to meet you after that, as the gallery's open till 6pm?
