Apologies...
Unfortunately we couldn't make it to the pub tonight due to a death in the family.
lykeios's Real Best-friend-in-the-world-ever, Dante, suffered an allergic reaction to a Windows update (not the nasty XP service pack but an allegedly non-toxic Win2k update), turned blue, and stopped opperating. Luckily he was revived thanks to much swearing and an emergency re-install-optomy, and is now in a critical but stable condition. Obviously
lykeios has been greatly shaken by these near-tragic events, and any messages of sympathy (or chocolate) would be hugely appreciated.

Blue screens are evil. Even worse if it's not your pc and you happen to be working on it at the time *worry*
Am glad to hear he is stable...microsoft have a lot to answer for, don't you think??
*sends get well hugs to the Dante.*

(Guess that's also down to the male thing of wanting to upgrade to a newer model when the old one gets a bit slow and laggy ;-) )
