When you got your email confirming you have web space, it will have given you weird numbery thingies called DNS names which look a bit like this:
blahthing.123.4.543.2
or whatever. They'll normally give you two.
Send these to the people who you bought your domain name from and they'll get the 'name propagated' - which basically means they'll get that domain name to 'point to' your web space.
OR, you may get a log-in thing from the people you got the name from where you can do it yourself - if so, look for DNS details and you can fill in the details.
