  • Limit jobhunting to just Monday and Tuesday evenings (unless it's replying to calls or emails.) Because even if moving is my primary goal right now, that's also where I have least control and am therefore most likely to crack if I can't switch off from it.

(It's also where I am most likely to get into the endless sacrificing-the-now-for-the-future loop, which is addictive, and unlikely to end when I move as I'll just move on to something else to obsess about, probably further study...)

  • Have at least one day a week (not Monday or Tuesday) where I finish work by 6pm AND actually go home.

  • Write more. (Definition of sci fi - conflicting/coexisting artforms and critique vs translation - three word stories - fairytale poetry)

  • Get new fridge as soon as possible. As it's so much easier to eat healthily cheaply with a fridge/freezer. Also I miss normal with-milk tea, and am in terrible danger of turning into Arthur Dent, especially since the machines at work appear to have been programmed to produce cups of something that are almost, but not quite, entirely unlike tea. (They also produce something that is almost, but not quite, entirely unlike coffee, but that at least fulfills the function of being full of caffeine, so is more easily forgivable.)

  • Start swimming again. (Means finding new ~proper~ swimming costume, not a stupid padded-bra spaghetti strapped pose-by-the-pool one. Must prod internet and see what it can provide.)

  • Investigate melatonin.

Am also torn about the idea of having a garden party (probably Saturday 9th July). On the one hand it would be really nice to try to have at least one outdoor party before moving, especially since it's a nice big garden and I already have a theme in mind. And it would definitely be a good distraction. On the other hand it's also extra stress and one more fully booked-up weekend. So, dilemma...
