Merry Multi-coloured-flashing-mas!

Meandered through the Christmas market last night with Jacqui. Found some cool gifts, ate mushrooms and cheesy garlic bread, drank mulled wine, and marvelled at the number of people queuing outside the oompah tent. (Although I did hear a rumour that it also contained beer.) Town was still completely packed out as I headed home. Am definitely going to be doing as much Christmas shopping as possible online this year.

Planning on escaping 'early'* today so I can get ready and head out in time to catch the pre-Flock bands. I am also trying to decide between:
a) garish skirt
b) wings
c) garish skirt AND wings
I was going to pop into the market today to find some appropriately coloured garish socks but I thought that might be going too far. Also it was cold. Maybe next time...

Have ordered a colour-changing USB Christmas tree from Amazon. Am hoping that this will cause an epidemic of lit-up, colour-changing USB creations in the office. Christmas should always be multi-coloured, tasteless and flashing.

If I can find time I want to put the Christmas decorations up at home this weekend. Which will invariably lead to buying more fairy lights, as you can never have too many multi-coloured flashing things. (See above.)

Ooh, maybe I could wear a garish skirt, wings and fairy lights...
