Boom! Crash! Wallop!

The sky is being all apocalyptic and throwing thunder and lightning all over the place. Luckily I managed to time my lunch run for just before the heavens opened. A few dripping wet colleagues have not been so lucky. (Especially our tame sales guy, who we managed to scare out of taking an umbrella.) May be swimming home tonight.

My minions have now arrived, and I now need to oversee them and make sure everything is being done properly. Must resist temptation to say 'oh, just give it here and let me do it' - perfectionism and delegation are not the best of bedfellows. I seem to be on top of workload again, but I'm sure that won't last long.

Had nicely semi-productive weekend. Got some poetry written, got another extension on my assessment pice so I can polish it up this week, and ventured out to the pub on Saturday night which lead to much drunken wibbling at people, finishing up with music and film trivia games (with me inventing innovative tactics when dealing with timed rounds) at the delightful Ms Orange's place until well into the daylight hours.

Tutoring tonight, and I am planning on doing a series of lessons on different painting styles. Am starting with pointillism - any other suggestions for styles we could explore?

Off now to whip the minions into shape!
