The beast is dead, or at least submitted.

I'm not sure it's the best version I could have produced - in fact I know it isn't - but it's a lot better that I thought it would be a few hours ago.

Thanks to RJ for the advice, and Kris for putting up with my panics and not killing me, even when I asked him nicely.

I should have been asleep hours ago, but am still too wired/worried/annoyed at myself to relax.

Maybe if I go wake Kris he'll finally put me out of my misery?

(PS. I do quite like writing. Honest.)

I appear to be unintentionally morbid.

I've been reviewing the short pieces I wrote for this course:
3 end in violent death
2 are set in post apocalyptic wastelands
1 concerns shattered dreams
1 ended happily, but only because I hit my word limit before the assassination!

It's not that I mind a nice bit of doom and gloom, but they were meant to be emotive character studies!

I may be a teensy bit gothy after all.

(Actually there was one story with two monks on a mountain, and neither of them died horribly or discovered the world had ended or turned out to be a ghost or anything like that!)
