This week I ran into an old friend that I'd not heard from in ages - in the Black Sheep online forum of all places. A mutual friend intorduced me many years ago but I lost touch and when I did try to get back in touch couldn't remember their address. And now after all this time:

I have just lost the past two days returning to the beginning (where they're all squiggly - the cartoon equivilant of "aw, aren't they ickle!") and reading all the way through the archives to the present day. It was worth it.
On a more productive note, have throughly spring-cleaned the kitchen, attacked the bathroom with so much bleach that it's even whiter than when we first moved in, and am now about to mount a two-pronged attack on the hall and the lounge. This burst of cleaning frenzy has possibly been inspired by the fact that I learned yesterday that (a) in spite of much pizza and beer at the weekend I still lost another pound in the past week and (b) I have a job interview a week on Monday *BOUNCE*
